The exhibition is a project of the Künstlerhaus itself in cooporation with Funeral Vienna which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. The aim of the exhibition is to combine the history of funeral with the culture of everyday life in Vienna. It tries to make death, mourning and remembrance accessible to the interested observer in an artistic way.
To make the diamond burial accessible to the visitors, Algordanza displays a memorial diamond in public within the presentation „death and everyday culture“.
